How To Use The GT26 Ramp Loading Dock
We had a dry-van truck coming to pick up an extra-long pallet. We were able to use our GT26 Yard Ramp to quickly load the pallet and get the truck on the road!
When the driver arrived at our warehouse, we realized we had two problems:
We didn’t have a warehouse dock to quickly load the dry-van.
We wouldn’t be able to load the extra long pallet without getting into the semi truck.
Luckily, we killed two birds with one stone by using the GT26 loading ramp. Here is how we did it:
STEP 2: The loading ramp platform was a little short, so we had to make some quick adjustments to line up with the trailer.
The hand-crank has 12” of range, which allows you to quickly make height changes as needed.
STEP 3: Once we got the height perfect, we dropped the pre-installed transition plate.
This plate ensures a safe transition from the forklift ramp to the trailer.
STEP 4: The ramp was finally ready to go! The forklift had no trouble going up the ramp, and we loaded the pallet in just 15 minutes.
